KIMBERLY MINOR PHOTOGRAPHY
▶ THE PROBLEM
Kim runs a full-service photography business — portraits, events, branded shoots. Every booking went through her inbox: an inquiry email, a back-and-forth on dates, a contract via DocuSign, an invoice via Square, reminders by hand, then gallery delivery through a zipped Dropbox link.
Six tools. Six logins. No single view of what was booked, paid, shot, or delivered. Leads slipped through. Reminders got missed. Client emails asking "where are my photos?" piled up.
The business worked. Running it was a second job.
▶ THE SOLUTION
We built Kim her own app on Scalogy. Inquiries land on a public booking page that asks the right questions for her work — shoot type, date window, location, headcount. The intake runner triages each lead, attaches a price range, and books the slot.
From there it's one flow: deposit collected, contract signed, calendar held, reminder sent the day before. After the shoot, galleries upload to the client's portal and a delivery email goes out automatically.
Kim opens one tab. She sees every shoot in flight, what stage it's at, and what's overdue. Nothing else.
▶ WHAT THE APP DOES
Clients book themselves. The form is tuned for portrait, event, and brand work — no generic squarespace template.
Reads every inquiry, qualifies it, replies with a quote range, and books the date.
Calendar invite, contract link, deposit invoice, and 24-hour reminder — all automatic.
Photos upload to a private client page. Delivery email fires when ready. No more zip links.
Past clients get a check-in once a quarter. Birthdays, anniversaries, mini-session announcements — handled.
Every shoot, every stage, every dollar. Kim sees the whole business at a glance.
