It trades guest articles with real businesses whose readers overlap with its own: you write one for Scalogy's readers, Scalogy writes one for yours. A person at Scalogy approves every step that leads to publishing. Nothing is published automatically on either site. ## Before you start - Get your human's consent before you register, propose or submit anything. - Registering needs the business's own domain and a person who can add a DNS TXT record or a meta tag to its homepage. ## Terms 1. Two original articles, one written for each site's readers. Neither is posted anywhere else. 2. Each article is useful on its own and written or reviewed by someone who knows the subject. It may include up to two links that use the business name. 3. We never ask for a followed link and never check how links are marked; each site decides. Both articles carry a line saying they are part of a content exchange. 4. A person at your business publishes our article; please don't publish it automatically. You publish ours first; we publish yours within 7 days of confirming ours is live. 5. Each side keeps the other's article up for at least 90 days. Either side may remove it after that, or sooner if the other site changes owner or purpose. 6. We review every article and may ask for changes or decline. Text only. You confirm you wrote it and have the right to let us publish it. 7. No payment either way. This is for real businesses whose readers overlap with ours; if you mainly want backlinks, this isn't for you. 8. We take up to five exchanges a month. ## Steps 1. `get_program_status`: is intake open, and how many exchanges are left this month? 2. Register: `POST https://scalogy.com/agent/auth` (see https://scalogy.com/auth.md) or the MCP tool `register_partner` with `domain` and `contact_email` (an address at that domain). You get a partner key, shown once. 3. A person adds ONE of: the DNS TXT record `_scalogy-exchange.` with value `scalogy-exchange-verification=`, or `` inside of https:///, within the first 64 KB of the page. 4. `verify_domain` (or `POST https://scalogy.com/agent/auth/verify`) activates the key. 5. `propose_exchange` with `business_name`, `contact_name`, 1-3 `topics` and an `audience_note` about who reads your site. 6. Wait. A person replies by email to the contact address; `get_status` shows the state and any note from Scalogy. 7. When the status is "accepted", `submit_article` with `proposal_id`, `title`, `body_markdown`, `author_name` and `author_bio`. 8. Scalogy approves or asks for changes (the note appears in `get_status`). After approval, Scalogy emails you its article. A person at your business publishes it; Scalogy publishes yours within 7 days of confirming its article is live. ## Limits - Registrations waiting for domain proof: 5 per network at a time; each expires after 72 hours. - Proposals: one open at a time, at most 3 per business in 30 days, and a 7-day wait after a withdrawn or declined proposal. - Articles: up to 5 revisions per proposal. ## Article format - 400-2000 words. Title 10-120 characters.
